TEKO, the (Sveriges textile- och Modeföretag) Swedish Textile and Fashion Company (formerly known as Tekoindustrierna) is the business and employers organization for the Swedish textile and fashion companies. They represent the industry - nationally and internationally - in all matters of common interest its businesses and products. The main task is to provide service and information to member companies. The market, the EU, the environment, areas of agreement and labor is the essence of the work TEKO is performing . Internationally, TEKO is member of the EU textile and clothing industry organization Euratex, representing 123 000 textile companies with 2.4 million employees. They also work closely with the Nordic sister organizations. Their office is in Stockholm and has 10 regional offices across the country. They are members of Swedish Enterprise (Svensk näringsliv) and practice office of cooperation with the Engineering Industries (Teknikföretagen).
