Camino Magazine is a lifestyle magazine that inspires sustainable consumption and lifestyles. The magazine was inspired by the British ethical, lifestyle magazine New Consumer. The first issue of Camino came out in 2007 and is published six times each year with a circulation of at least 10 000 copies per issue. Organic food, organic clothing, energy-smart gadgets, second hand, fair trade, vintage, eco labels, environmental technology, green products, recycled, fairly traded, sustainable design, climate-friendly gadgets and Fair Trade-certified products is what Camino offers its readers.

Founders of Camino are the four friends, Johanna Ståhl, Tobias Jansson, Caroline Peterson and Ingemar Gustafsson from Gothenburg, which together formed the economic association GETAWARE. Besides Camino Magazine they run caminomagasin.se with discussion forums, blogs and an online store. GETAWARE is also responsible for the Camino Consulting who holds lectures, participation / moderating debates, journalistic assignments, publishing of Camino and special books on the subject of sustainable living, Camino Events, organized “swapping” days and other events focusing on sustainable consumption.
