'''OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises''' are recommendations jointly on corporate responsibility from 40 governments to companies doing business in these countries. The guidelines are voluntary, but communication is maintained at each country's National Contact Point, NCP.

* '''Environment''': Strive for continuous improvement. Protect the environment, health and safety, for example through environmental management systems and to apply precautionary actions. Develop and provide products and services without environmental impact.
* '''Corruption''': Do not distribute bribes; promote transparency and employee awareness of company policies against bribery.
* '''Consumer Interests''': Providing information about products to consumers and establish procedures to resolve consumer disputes.
* '''Science and technology''': Strive to transfer technology and knowledge to the host country.
* '''Competition''': Not working with competitors to restrict competition.
